Jennifer went to her first yoga class because she’d reached a strength plateau as a runner. Having her ass handed to her by a Baptiste power vinyasa class taught her that yoga wasn’t a pretend exercise for skinny chicks (like she’d thought). Her repeated exposure to “yoga mat introspection time” enabled her to think clearly and take steps toward manifesting her future.

Jennifer entered into yoga teacher training with the desire to give back to her community the positive benefits of calming the mind through breath and movement. Her classes combine strength building asana sequences with a lighthearted approach.

Jennifer became 200-Hour RYT certified with Yoga Alliance in 2015 after completing the teacher training certification program at Jai Dee Yoga in Tampa, FL. Since then, she's completed Baptiste Level One, Level Two, Art of Assisting, Advanced Art of Assisting, Level Three and is now a Tier Three certified Baptiste Yoga teacher and became
YAECP® certified with the Yoga Alliance in August of 2022.

Hi Jenn,

Since the Covid Lockdowns closed the Power Yoga studios, here in Ontario Canada I have been faithfully following your audio recordings on Spotify. I absolutely adore your classes. I love how much you've changed as a teacher, which has been reflected in my yoga practice. I have been adoring the focus on parts of the body or yoga practices (centerline, breathing, drishdi, etc.,). Although I miss the heat, your classes are tough, raise my body temperature and I love them. Part of the reason I am an active follower is because your wording is clear and concise and challenges both my mind and body. Truly, I just wanted to say thank you and know that you are not just a voice in the studio but a virtual voice in my home and probably lots of other peoples' homes. my one request give a well done and a shout out to your online, audio audience. I need motivation too lol.

Seriously, Thank You!

Marjolijne

Marjolijne - thank you for the kind words! I truly appreciate hearing from you, as I don't often get feedback about the classes I put online. I will begin putting in shout-outs to the listeners at home! I'm not sure how many of my in person students are even aware that I record the class and put the audio online :D
